Here’s an arrangement of the old gospel tune “When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder.” It’s bubbly, rollicking, and downright peppy.  It starts out solemnly enough with a lyrical passage that quotes the “Hallelujah Chorus.”  From there it moves from a bright march to a dancing jig, then to on to a bluesy boogie.  A whirlwind finish leaves everyone in the room with a smile.
