The success of Flute Stylings II prompted this sequel. I was able to help this time around by unofficially editing the flute parts and being a general nag. The arrangements that Joel has written are wonderful--moving, emotional, fun. Listen to the samples on the website and I think you’ll agree.

Eva Kingma - Contrabass Flutes
I tried out my first Kingma contrabass at the Pittsburgh NFA convention. All I can say is I take my hat off to all you contrabass players out there. The sound is truly wonderful, though, and based on this experience I’ve been adding optional contrabass parts to my more recent work.
Most of my arrangements are available here. Once again, sometimes the search engine throws you a curve and you may have to use other criteria (Title is usually best) to find the right piece.
I contacted J.L. Smith when I was thinking of purchasing a new headjoint and was impressed by their website, their helpfulness, and their excellent booklet on flute purchasing.
