I’ve been working with music notation software since the late 1980’s. How wonderful it’s been to use the computer to lay out perfect pages of music after years of writing it all out by hand! All of the compositions on this website, both published and unpublished, have been engraved by me. I also engrave professionally for composers and publishing companies. Here’s a couple of samples of my work for my friend Joel Raney:
Have you written something for your students or your flute choir that you need to print out in a readable form? Or maybe you’d like to submit your own composition to a publisher? I work with the latest Finale notation software and can provide you with a PDF that you can print from your computer. For a little bit extra (see rate card below), I can make an audio file from computerized instruments that can give you a good idea of how your piece will sound. I do these for my own work and it’s been enormously helpful (see sample at the bottom of this page).
